Young Girl Sculpt

Like my portrait of Patrick Stewart, this originally was a project from Animation 1. However, over the past month I decided to reform her into a semi-realistic portrait of a younger girl. The base mesh, built using Autodesk Maya, was taken into ZBrush for additional sculpting control and slight skin and lip detailing. I unwrapped the UVs using Roadkill, an amazing free application, and took the map into Photoshop for hand-painting.

There are seven FiberMesh subtools, which are the eyebrows, upper lashes, lower lashes, and hair. The hair was created in polygroups in order to be styled with ease. Her eyes were polypainted in ZBrush using radial symmetry. The shaders used are variations of this skin material (found in the top post by user froyd) and this eye shader (found in the top post by user sebcesoir). The next step for her will be a semi-realistic dress or outfit, and some shoes!
